Community Mishloach Manos Gift Baskets

  • Community Mishloach Manos Gift Baskets

  • Mishloach Manot is a tradition observed on Purim. The custom of giving Mishloach Manot involves sending food and drink gifts to friends and family members as a way of promoting love, unity, and friendship among the Jewish community. This tradition is based on the biblical account of Purim, as recorded in the Book of Esther, where it is written that the Jews of ancient Persia sent gifts to one another as a way of celebrating their salvation from destruction.

  • As such we are offering the opportunity for you to send Purim gifts (Mishloach Manot) to local families and at the same time help support Judea Kids Club / Hebrew School.

    You can chose to:

    1) Send to the entire community list

    2) Send to individuals you select from the list

    3) Send to an Israeli soldier serving in the IDF

  • To view the community list click here .

  • The giving of Mishloach Manot is considered a mitzvah, and it is important to note that to fulfill the Mitzvah the best way possible, one is to give Mishloach Manot to friends and family members in person on the day of Purim.
